Herbert is currently a second year medical student at Yale School of Medi- cine. He holds a B.A. in Neurobiology and Ethnic Studies from Harvard University. His research and academic interests include racial disparities in surgery, Latinx health outcomes, and the ethical implications behind the denial of tertiary care for undocumented immigrants.
